Car Gods branded BTCC CarWhilst we're not able to get out on the road this season, we've taken to the track instead and will be sponsoring the Ciceley Motorsport team Carlube Triple R racing Mercedes A-Class cars.
Team Carlube Triple R will consist of two racing drivers, competing at 9 venues across the UK in the KwikFit 2020 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) which is now the third longest standing race series in the world, behind Formula 1 and NASCAR.

We’re thrilled to be in partnership with the Ciceley Motorsport team, as well as drivers Adam Morgan and Jack Butel. Both drivers will be hoping to get off to a flying start for Team Carlube Triple R when the green flag drops!

Having two cars in the same colours is a first for our team and offers not only double exposure for our sponsors but also increases our chances of scoring points in the teams’ championships.”

Team Carlube Triple R Driver, Adam Morgan expressed his excitement for the season ahead: “I am feeling very positive about this season. We turned a corner mid-way through 2019 and found a good set up and we are aiming to build on this. Steve Farrell, our race engineer, has had some ideas to improve the cars and some of our processes as a team and so we are in good shape for the season ahead.”

Jack has raced under the Ciceley Motorsport banner before at the 2020 24hr of Dubai, in the team’s Mercedes GTS GT4 after catching the eye of team boss Russell Morgan while competing for other teams in the past. Russell was immediately impressed with Butel’s determination, raw pace, attitude and application both at and away from trackside.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for me, joining the British Touring Car Championship grid is a dream come true,” said an ecstatic Jack. “I have so many people to thank… firstly my parents for their unwavering support, Carlube Triple R Racing and Lucas Batteries for their financial backing and Ciceley Motorsport for their belief in me as a driver.

The opportunity has come at literally the eleventh hour, I just can’t wait to get cracking.”
